Who: Sora and Vanitas
Where: Somewhere in the bubble or maybe up on the island.
What: Vanitas was the winner of the date auction for Sora, and with everything that's been going on the two are just now getting to it. This can't possibly end well, but maybe it will....?

Sora wasn't happy about this. He was more than not happy about this he was very much annoyed by this.

He'd managed to get out his door without too many questions, despite the slightly sour look on his face, but depending on how this night ended there may be quite a few questions that would need answering especially if Sora came home with bruises.

Of all people did Vanitas really have to win that auction? Worse yet why did he have to actually remember about the stupid thing? Sora was too good of a person and he'd feel guilty if the "money" went to nothing. Besides, Vanitas would just drag him out anyway.

So with heavy feet, Sora found himself walking to the fountain where he'd told Vanitas he'd meet him for their "date".

Careful with making faces or Sora’s face might be stuck on sourpuss mode. Really, he was thinking of letting Sora get out of the date auction, but it did give Vanitas an excuse to get some of his frustrations out. Torture the person who can’t even tolerate being in the same room and not think about how dumb he was during the last curse was the best plan of action.

He at least put effort to looking presentable, but he likely wouldn’t be forthcoming if that was just his idea of casual or someone else’s idea rubbing off on him. He was also on time. As tempting as making Sora wait around was, he didn’t want to go hunt down the moron if he got cold feet while waiting. Sora will find him all relaxed on a bench with a sucker in his mouth.

“Looks like you really can’t break your word,” Vanitas said sounding very amused. He was still very curious as to what it would take to change that. “Come on.” He got up leisurely and started towards the theaters. Sora liked movies, right? Hopefully he was fine with ones featuring undead fish monsters consuming people.

Sora scowled. Already off to a good start eh, Vanitas? The outfit does through Sora off a bit. He's not really used to seeing Vanitas in clothes like that, not that he makes a point to follow him around or anything, but the look suits him somehow.

Sora on the one hand stuck with khaki cargo shorts than hung past his knees, his normal shoes, a black tank, and his bright red sleeveless hoodie with some sort of design on the back. Not much different from his normal outfit, but Sora liked the combination.

He followed behind Vanitas trying not to be pissed off by the guys presence. Maybe this really was what they meant when they said if you met your doppelganger one of you would have to die.

"Where are we going?" They hadn't really talked about where they'd go, and it was Vanitas's choice anyway.

As much as he would love to wear his biker outfit with the hula skirt, it drew far too much attention. That and he can use his face to surprise people- that puppy face does come handy with making people think you’re harmless.

He doesn’t answer Sora for a while to see how he reacts to it. It wasn’t until they were a couple buildings away that he finally answers with “movies.” How would zippers and dork feel about being in the dark next to the other?

“That’s what you’re supposed to do on these things. Something entertaining and then food.” Or the other way around could work

“There won’t be princesses or singing animals.”

The silence was going to drive Sora crazy! He tried not to break it and demand Vanitas answer him, but the way his hand tapped against the side of his leg was enough of a clue of how antsy this was making him.

Finally when Vanitas told him he looked over surprised. A movie?

"Why would I want to see a movie about that?" That was practically his life for a whole year thanks. Not that he'd really complain if the did watch something like that, but he couldn't see Vanitas sitting through that kind of film for very long, or if he did there'd be plenty of snide remarks and they'd probably get kicked out.

"Because you own movies like that." Well Roxas did at least, but he thought he saw some similar titles at Sora's place. Totally close enough.

"Don't tell me you're afraid of being in the dark with me. There will be people there, moron." Which won't stop him if he did want to pull anything, but details.

Just past another building or so and finally there!

"Pick out good seats." He'll get all the junk food.

Sora pouted. "Those were Kairi's." Or at least one variation of Kairi, not that it stopped Sora from watching them if he really got bored, and never mind the times he'd danced around the living room with the dogs, but that was none of Vanitas's business.

"I'm not scared of you." Which was true. Sora refused to be scared of him.

"..." Sora sighed and watched as Vanitas walked off to get snacks. Well he might as well try to make the best of it. "Grab some Swedish Fish okay!"

He turned and walked into the theater. He didn't bother looking to see just what movie it was; Sora figured he'd find out soon enough anyway. He chose seats all the way at the back of the theater and directly in the middle.
