Fearlessness was usually a sign of ignorance or stupidity... neither of which Mr. D was in the mood for. In addition, there was something about this guy that signaled "inhuman" to the god's senses. He couldn't put his finger on it because he rarely functioned outside of his pantheon, but he knew humans when he met them. Usually. Not that not being human was bad, but it came with a certain amount of arrogance that the god himself also possessed. Being addressed so casually really put the chip on Mr. D's shoulder.
