Dirk was a natural learner, and he'd never had a hard time picking up any of the things he'd applied himself to learning. Some of it was because of the copious amounts of time he'd always had to learn, but some of it was just that it came easily to him.

His first instinct was to push Leo to learn reading English and Spanish better, but he ignored that. It was none of his fucking business, and he'd been trying not to pull that any more.
