Luckily Fai has pretty good reflexes and even though Johnny is quick, Fai was pretty sure he could be quicker. Avoiding and running away from Kurogane had always been one of his more useful skills after all. Even with the resistance from the water, Fai managed to sidestep that lunge. It did still send him a bit off balance though which caused him to flail a little as he fell sideways. Nothing graceful at all about either vampire at the moment.
