[There were a lot of things Rin Okumura had never expected to happen in his life. Being the half demon spawn of Satan, having his father die, training to be an exorcist, coming to an underwater city, getting a girlfriend while in said underwater city, seeing both his dead father and his dead mother in said underwater city...
These were unexpected, surely, but nothing he couldn't deal with eventually.
But this.
This was something he wasn't entirely sure he could handle.
The board had said nothing about what the quest actually entailed, just that a certain cleric wanted to "give the Head Nurse what was coming to her", so naturally Kid and Rin figured why the hell not and went right on searching for the odd woman who for some reason was very reluctant to come out of a shadow alley way.
It wasn't until they had already agreed that the details of the quest were laid down on them.]
This is stupid...
[It was, more or less, a glorified panty raid.
Yes. The son of Satan and the son of Lord Death were tasked with gathering the unmentionables of the Head Nurse. Who... for some reason, lived in a crypt. Which was where the two teens were currently standing in their assigned garb, staring down at the entrance to the crypt with equal uncomfortable looks of distaste and wariness.
Rin looked at his companion, paled as if his task was something closer to assassination rather than the (mostly) harmless act of taking some one's clothing.]
S-seriously, this is stupid. Let's just... go back and tell her there's no way we're doin' it. We can find another quest, right?
[He didn't sound nearly as confident about that as he wanted to.]
