What secrets await the forest?

Wallace hadn't yet explored much of the forest area since coming to Vatheon. He wondered if there were any Pokemon living inside the Forest area. It was worth a shot since he missed being back home in Hoenn. What other creatures inhabited the Forest anyway? Looking up at the dense canopy of leaves and began climbing a tree and then sitting on the thick trunk. A better view was to be had up top. He wasn't much of a tree climber or forest dweller but exploration was something he loved. Even inside the bubble, a Forest was such a challenge he couldn't miss.

"Hm." He could see for good distance sat atop his branch and wondered if anyone else would pass through on their way through the Forest. Conversation wouldn't go amiss as he felt quite comfortable sat atop the world.

Kenshin had a tendency to frequent the forest, usually in the morning though as of late, he'd taken to the forest in the afternoons. Training took his mind off things, particularly missing home.

But today was training. He'd coated the trees nearby with a thin sheet of ice before resheathing his sword and heading home. But before he did, he noticed someone in the trees. "Quite a perch you have there."

Wallace looked down to where the light voice came from. He noticed a man wearing some kind of samurai armour with a sword. "Hello there. Yes. You can get quite a good view from up here." He smiled and climbed down the tree to greet the man.

"I am Wallace of Hoenn. Might I ask your name, sir?"

There was a temptation to simply jump into the trees with him, yet the stranger came down instead. Kenshin rested his hand on the hilt of his katana. "Uesugi Kenshin of Echigo," he replied, his voice quite soft and feminine.

Wallace bowed slightly. "A pleasure to meet you, Kenshin." He noticed how proud the man looked and portrayed himself. "How long have you been in Vatheon, Kenshin?"

"Likewise," Kenshin nodded in greeting. "I have been here over two years," he replied. Two very long years. "Have you been here long, Wallace-dono?" Formal honorifics of course. He was all about them.

"Two years? That's a long time. I have only been here for a couple of months. A newbie, as you might say." He smiled then blushed some. Dono? Wallace found this man to be charming and elegant.

"Indeed it has been some time," Kenshin agreed. "Though there are those who have been here longer." Now Kenshin was a bit of a flirt, with everyone. Being polite was just part of his charm.

"I am sure there are. I trust you have found a way to keep yourself amused for that time, Kenshin." Wallace smiled politely.

"I have found means to entertain my time," Kenshin nodded, though truthfully, the samurai had been running out of ideas and resorted to training quite a bit more. After all, a samurai lord with rusty skills just didn't sound right.

"I am sure you have. There are many ways to keep yourself busy in Vatheon I have found. I like to train with my Pokemon or use my artistic skills." He smiled.

"Ah, so you are a pokemon trainer?" Kenshin was relatively familiar with them. He'd gotten to care for a glaceon once, which proved to be quite a perfect companion.

[champ_coordinator]

"I am a Pokemon Champion. I became a trainer many years ago and trained hard with my Pokemon, challenging rivals and building up my skills. Here I am now." He smiled.

"Impressive," Kenshin nodded. "That must have been quite the adventure."

[champ_coordinator]

"Oh, it was. A good special adventure with my Pokemon." He smiled.

"They seem to be quite good companions," Kenshin nodded.

"Oh, they are. Very much so." Wallace nodded.
