There's a reason that Ky hasn't made any sort of announcement over the SFC -- and while part of it is that awareness that he would exhaust himself trying to answer the replies, there's a more conscious level to it too. He wants to have a plan of action first, something that he can hold in front of people and use to show how he intends to protect them, rather than simply putting on display his own weakness.
The other part of him doesn't want to have to tell people that he's promised to protect that he can't even protect himself, let alone them. And perhaps that's the real reason he hasn't just walked out of Zelda's house. Whatever she might say she wouldn't physically drag him back into the house, he believes.
People visiting makes that harder, but Ky won't turn Rin away. He just has to convince Rin that he's still capable enough to deal with what has happened.]
