On the hunt

[Beck had been here almost a week by now. By this point she'd dealt with trying to adjust to suddenly being kidnapped and ending up far from home. Along with that, she'd eventually managed to pick out an unoccupied place to live and fussed over trying to make it feel homey. The truth was though, she'd never had a real place of her own, not since she'd been little, and it was strange. She had so much room to herself and no one to share it with like at Mosaic. The quiet was almost kind of unnerving sometimes.
Which mean she took to exploring the city a lot after she'd got somewhat settled in, like she was now. Today there was also a double mission along with exploring. She was on a hunt for a specific article of clothing. She'd gotten clothes that were pretty similar to what she wore back home-boots, jeans and a shirt that in general failed to cover her stomach (and also exposed the tattoo or whatever it was that she now had above her left hipbone)-but thus far, she lacked a duster. She would keep searching the city until she found one though, like she was now. As she walked along, she paused to peer in the windows of every store she passed, to see if it was worth going in to hunt for a coat.]
