[The man lying in the plaza seems to be asleep and, as per usual, thoroughly soaked.
After a moment, his eyes snap open and he rolls to his hands and knees, coughing as if he's just had the air knocked out of him. Which would stand to reason, since he had.
Once he appears to catch his breath, he finally looks up and around the confusion showing clear on his face.
His head, throat, and stomach aching and a million possibilities running through his mind, the only theory that seems at all possible is that he's dead. No doubt about it. Definitely dead.
Although...this was certainly not what the afterlife was supposed to look like...right?]
