[If Zelos hadn't gotten a Guardian up at the last second, he would have been toast. As it is the attack still does a considerable amount of damage, enough to cause Zelos physical pain beyond what the crystal can dull. He grits his teeth, coat shredded, bleeding from various lacerations. He's not even entirely certain how he's still upright, though he may very well fall over if he takes a single step.
