... This isn't right.

[ Yukiko has just walked off a train. When you walk off a train you're suppose to end up at a train station, not soaked in front of a giant coral in what seems to be the center of a plaza. She takes of her hat and squeezes out the water from it before placing it back on her head, her hair all into the hat just like how it was before. It's a good thing her hair was in the hat before as it didn't get as wet as the rest of herself.

Now that her hat wasn't soaked on her head the next step was to figure out where she was. From the looks of it she was.. underwater? Was she in the Lost City of Atlantis? She giggled to herself at the thought as she considers what her son and husband would think if she told them.

But speaking of her son he was on the train with her. Maybe he was around? As well as the other kids and adults that there also on the train.

...

Okay. So plans: find a place to dry off, find out where she is, and then find out where she should go and if anyone is here. ]

Well, I know one thing. We won the battle~

[ That she knows even without seeing them once getting off the train. ]

But didn't you know? The war's only getting started.

[Today Yuri found himself at the plaza, walking around despite having gotten cooked medium-well in yesterday night's battle. Still, it's not like he hadn't been seriously injured before, so he was up and about despite protests to rest. In any case, he can't help but finish that sentence as he approached Yukiko, waving at her.]

I take it you just arrived?

[ Upon hearing the voice Yukiko turns and notices the male waving to her. She couldn't help but smile at his comment. ]

It's how it always seem to be, hmm?

[ She then switches to a more thoughtful look ]

Yes! I had walked off a train and found myself here. I don't think my train's destination was the City of Atlantis though.

That makes... well, all of us.

[Yuri can't help but shrug, gesturing around to the underwater city around them.]

As you can see, you're in Vatheon. First, greatest and only underwater city in existence. No one knows how they get here or how they leave, sadly.

[ She laughs lightly ]

There is nothing to worry about as long as you have the upper hand!

[ Yukiko takes a glances around the city before switching her focus back to him. ]

Sounds like something out of a fairy tale~ Though I don't suppose a prince charming will be coming and helping us escape from here.

[That causes Yuri to laugh a little -- the way she answered reminded him of a certain bookworm princess back at their house.]

If that were true, we'd have been long gone. Though there is apparently a way out -- no one seems to remember or know how they leave, though.

It's frustrating, really.

Ahh... that's a shame. If I'm gone too long people are going to worry.

[Namely that husband of hers. Perhaps her son as well if he realizes that she didn't get off the train where the destination supposed to have been.]

Was it a battle against someone bad? [Oh, hi, Yukiko - have a long-eared kid holding out a towel, one he had grabbed as soon as he saw her arrive. He sounds pretty curious about it - maybe it has to do with the sword on his back.]

Well, it's not all bad? Sometimes people you know are taken to this place, too. I'm staying with a couple of them, actually...

[Yuri smiles encouragingly.]

That plus most of the people I've seen here are pretty laid-back, so there's not a lot of trouble making new friends in this place.

[ Awww, you look cute! She smiles and takes the towel from him and begins to dry herself off ]

Hmmm, I guess you can call them 'bad'. They've certainly done some terrible things. [ Poisoning her son for one ]

Really? How wonderful! Being in a foreign place is always better when you're with someone you know~

[ She smiles happily. ]

Oh, good! I guess since I'm stuck here I have to make the best of it!

Oh... then well done! [He gives her a grin, setting a hand on his hip - after so long asleep, it's good to be out and talking to people.] You're in a place called Vatheon, by the way.

Thank you~ It's all thanks to all the support we had! [ So this place wasn't Atlantis but called Vatheon? ] So that is what this place is called... how did I arrive here?

[... well, she cheered up quickly. This woman reminded her of Estelle, with her cheerfulness and all.]

Yeah. It's not a bad place, all things considered...

Anyway, the name's Yuri Lowell. Pleasure to meet you.

[He smiles lopsidedly, holding out a hand.]

[ have to live life to the fullest. just wait until she can get her hand on some vehicle. ]

What more can you tell me about this place?

Oh! It's a pleasure to meet you! My name is Yukiko Kudo.

[ She brings out her own hand to shake Yuri's. Why can't her son be like this. ]

Well... here, you'll need this. There's a bit you'll need to know.

[Shaking Yukiko's hand, Yuri then pulls out a towel, tossing it to her from behind his back.]

For one, there's events called curses that occur on a semi-regular basis here. These tend to change either the environment or the actual people living here. You'll probably encounter one of them soon, actually...

[ She catches the towel and starts to dry herself off with it. ]

Hmmm? [ This place is sounding more and more like a place from a fairy tale ] These curses have happened before? What kind?

[A shrug.] No one really knows, but we think the coral brings us here. [A gesture towards it - well, it's kind of hard to miss.] You have to touch it a lot or you'll start feeling tired.

[Speaking of which, he should probably do that soon himself.]

Oh - do you have a thing that looks a bit like this with you? It should be really close! [Link holds up his own (green, naturally) SFC, scanning the area for any others.]

I wouldn't know how to classify them... they're all over the place. One caused people to gain different powers and abilities... another resulted in people's memories and dreams being posted over this city's network... a third involved a series of aquatic sporting events.

Like I said, hard to classify.

[He shrugs unhelpfully at that. Not much else he can say there...]

[ Kaito was only on his way down to touch the stupid coral to keep his energy from draining. He thinks the whole thing is stupid but since he needs his energy he'll play along, for now. He stops midstep to let out a yawn before his eyes settle on the lady soaked head to foot. Must be a new arrival. ]

[ ...Wait a minute. That style of hat is... He tilts his head to see if he can get a better look. Well, she certainly looks like her. And how many people have the same face? Himself and Kudo not withstanding. He takes a breath and moves over to her. ]

O-Okaasan?

[ Yukiko listens and while she understands what he's saying it's hard to imagine. huh. Must be because of her detective husband and son. ]

And the coral causes these curses to happen? What's so special about the coral?

Eh? We get tired if we don't touch the coral?

[ Yukiko looks back at the coral. Huh, so it's more than just an interesting piece of decoration? ]

Uh.. [ she looks around before noticing one on the ground near her foot ] Oh! [ She proceeds to pick it up and show it to him ] Is it this cute little device?

[ Hearing the voice Yukiko turns and noticed the male. At first glance he looked like her son ]

Shin-Ch--

[ No. Wait. He looks a lot like her son to where he might as well be his twin. But Shin-Chan's hairstyle is a little different than his. She takes a closer look before remembering someone who looked a lot like her son when he was younger. ]

Kaito-Kun?

Pretty much. The giant coral here? The locals treat it as their god. Apparently it has magical powers, but no one's actually looked into it yet, as far as I know...

[He jerks a thumb behind him to the glowing thing nearby.]

[ This place is really sounding more and more like a fairy tale ]

My~ This Coral is more than just a decoration in the middle of a plaza isn't it. How many people believe this coral's powers?
