So, he had decided to follow after the princess. It had been a while since he had so much as spoken to the woman. What could she possibly be doing out this late?
He walks after her silently for quite a while, until finally, he decides to present herself.
It's somewhere in the park that he decides to step out from behind one of the many trees, a calm smile on his face.
"Princess Zelda," he greeted, "Good evening. What's got you out and about tonight?"
