[Yasha's kick certainly came as a surprise. Loki knew he was strong but to actually encounter it at that close a distance was something different altogether. He raised his arms protectively, anticipating the hit, but he knew that he will never hope to weather that blow.

So Loki allowed his body to be swept away by the force to minimize damage and he was sent hurtling to a tree a few feet away. But Loki's body suddenly burst into black feathers and shards of ice as it made impact to the trunk.]
