He was halfway not expecting an answer, and the voice gets him to jump slightly because of it. He lets out a strained but relieved breath after though, shifting through the trees until he can finally see the man clearly.

Panting, he returns the small rapier to it's scabbard, but he doesn't get much closer than where he stopped.
