"Shut up." was all he could mutter, swatting that hand away in mild irritation as Izaya moved to ruffle his hair. Though it seemed to be a more than frequent thing between them, it didn't mean the demon got used to it. However, it was the one special privilege Laharl allowed him. Perhaps it was more from there was simply no stopping it but then there were those who died from having treated the demon prince like a small child.
That bit about Shizuo made sense. He'd heard snatches of a scuffle about down but decided against getting involved. Though the animosity between the two seemed obvious, Laharl didn't know it was just simply this bad. Though Izaya did warn him about his dangerous lifestyle. With the blond around, perhaps that only made it more dangerous. The wounds looked pretty damn bad, there was no denying it and it was only through a slight conscious effort that the demon managed to glance aside after a slight assessment of the entirety of the damage. "Yeah, go figure the curse hits the minute you get people moved in with you." he replied with the smallest smirk, leaning against the wall.
"I slept for three years once. What the-?!" The words came unbidden and though that little tidbit was a minor one, the prince couldn't help but feel the tiniest hint of dread for what else he was capable of spilling. "Guess I am too." he finally muttered.
The bit about the sunflowers earned him a snicker though and a series of "okay"s in protest. Maybe some other time. However he managed to pull himself from the wall when the first aid kit was taken down. Though he usually let the healers handle this sort of thing, there was no denying it was a handy little hung to know on the field.
"Yeah, yeah. I got it." he sighed, settling himself by the sink. "Sit down or something." As much as he hated to admit it, there were just some bits he couldn't reach.
