[She knew that he wouldn't stop, that he wouldn't ever give up, that Martel was all he would admit to caring about. She knew it. And since all they ever wanted was the exact same thing, a world without discrimination, it hurt. She knew his plan wouldn't work, but she didn't have the heart to tell him right now. Their plan might not work either, but it's worth the chance. It wouldn't hurt anyone, their way. His would hurt people, it had hurt people. And that was how he wanted to make sure he couldn't lose Martel again. That's what she didn't- couldn't -accept.
