Who: Graces House or anyone who wants to visit
When: Late Evening December 14th
Where: In the Living room next to the fireplace
Status: Semi-Open: If you know members of the Graces cast or would be visiting the house jump in
[It's rather late for Malik to return home, even after his normal return time from an evening working the bar at the Golden Victory.
He heads into the living room and starts a fire in the fireplace. It's not clear what he's been up to since his shift was over, but he's carrying a small bag with him. He sets it next to his big leather chair.
He's been wearing a red velvet shirt with a black vest to go with the seasonal decorations up at the host club. Home now, he begins to unwind by unbuttoning the vest. In addition to his more formal attire, he's also taken to wearing a Santa-hat and a big, white, fake moustache while working at the club. He thinks about removing them, but decides not to. To be honest, he's growing a little attached to them. Everyone seems to enjoy this holiday and his accessories tend to make people smile.
As the fire begins to catch he makes his way to the kitchen to prepare himself a nightcap.
He returns to a crackling fire and a warming chair. With a bit of a grunt, he lowers himself into it. He takes a sip of his drink and closes his eyes.
There's an empty chair or two right next to him bathed in a warm and toasty glow from the fire.]
Who: Sophie, Mithos, Cheria Barnes, anyone else in the family (i.e. Asbel, Malik, Hubert, Pascal) who'd be at the house.
Where: Tales House of Graces!
When: Uh... a couple of days ago!
Status: Semi Open
So shortly after inviting Mithos over to get his wedding cake, Sophie had trotted out to get some aprons since she promised both Tifa and Pascal one. She would give Tifa hers later, of course. Having tasks Malik to guard the cake in case Mithos arrived first, Sophie was lucky enough to get back home quickly enough that Mithos had yet to arrive.
Tiger Festival, however, had found the cakes and was currently intently staring at the counter, gauging if it was safe to jump up onto. The wedding cake is in danger!
Who: The Doctor and You
Where: Standard Plaza Drop
When: Late Morning, just before Noon, November 24th
Style: Brackets preferred but I'll match
[A rather damp man in a tweed dress jacket and red bow-tie suddenly appears in the plaza next to the corral.
He spins around quickly, observing and taking in the scene before him in a rush of information.
He runs his hand through his hair nervously only to discover that it is wet.]
I'm wet. [He brings his hand down from his head and inspects it. Sniffs it. Then tastes it.]
Correction. [He looks down at the rest of himself and flaps his jacket out a few times as if to get rid of the excess liquid. He begins to straighten his bow-tie.] I'm soaked... [There is a pause.] with salt-water.
And I'm inside a bubble under an ocean next to an enormous piece of coral.
Ooookay. [He claps his hands together and tilts his head to one side and then the other.]
No TARDIS in sight. [He checks his pockets.] Sonic accounted for, that's good. [He removes his sonic screwdriver and takes a reading. There is a green light and an electric buzzing noise for a few seconds. It turns off and he flips the device up to his eyes to inspect the data.]
Well I haven't mis-aimed. There is certainly something odd about this place.
[He places the sonic screwdriver back in his waterlogged pocket.]
So here's a question. [He continues to talk to himself and walks in a semi-circle around the coral.]
Why does this feel oddly familiar?
Who: Sophie, Pascal, Malik Caesar, Hubert Ozwell, Asbel Lhant, Cheria Barnes.
When: Thanksgiving Daaaaay! (so, front-dated a little bit)
Grace's House Graces House
Style: I'm starting in brackets, but y'all can do whatever you want ~
[ Cheria had been extremely busy since the morning, preparing everything they would need for their feast that night. She'd worked so hard on all of this, and it was really starting to become obvious in how tired she was ... it would be worth it, though, right?
When Cheria had heard of this holiday, she immediately knew she wanted to try and do something for it. She and her family had been through a lot in the past year or so, regardless of whether or not it was in Vatheon or in their own world, and she felt that it was only appropriate to celebrate and be thankful for everything they had.
Plus, there was always a good reason to get everybody at the dinner table, right? Cheria tried to stick to the ordinary Thanksgiving traditions she'd read about, food-wise, but she tried to incorporate something that every individual person in their little family liked into the meal as well.
There was a lot of food still in the process of being made. Cheria leaned against a nearby wall, sighing tiredly and wiping her forehead with her sleeve. It was getting there, but there was still quite a bit left to do. ]
Who: Laharl and
his future vassals YOU
Where: Exiting the Library
Style: I'll match~
After just two weeks in this place, Laharl is homesick. Not that he would ever use the word, but he misses his Netherworld--his castle, his coffin, his vassals (well, ordering them around)... He ought to be there right now, enjoying his newly cemented position.
Hitting the books wouldn't normally be on his list of options, but unfortunately there's no obvious leader here to beat up. Creating dimensional portals is something his gatekeeper does every day, surely an Overlord won't have any trouble learning it. The primary obstacle to this plan is the lack of a teacher or, as it turns out, any books he can find on the subject.
The pint-sized demon is in a foul mood as he exits the library. The bookshelves where he had been working barely survived (although he left a real mess), and he'd really like to destroy something or someone more worth his while.
If he seems to be looking for a fight, it's because he is.

Up to you!Status:
Another day in Vatheon, another new foreigner, it would seem.
Other than the little detail that this one was sleeping under a tree, somewhere in the city. Quite probably not the last place she was seen sleeping. Just exploring the weird new place and going around until she was tired again.
Who would care to bother her?
[Mickey's settled in his expansive garden, with his pets around him - the chocobo is sleeping against a tree, while the dog lays his head in Mickey's lap. He's looking sort of sentimental as he takes up his starfish.]
Still around, Sophie? I thought about keepin' my promise and tellin' ya one of the fairy tales we got back home... without explodin' bears. I got 'em all memorized like the back of my hand. Just tell me what yer in the mood for.
... Heh, and I suppose if anyone else wants one, they can ask for one too.
Who: Anyone in or near Graces House
Where: Tales of Graces House
When: Early-Afternoon, Sept 17th
[Malik knocks on the door of the Graces house. In the few weeks he's been here he has mostly toured around and met with with his friends. At the urging of Asbel, Cheria, and Sophie - he has decided to leave the room at his favorite inn and move in to the house with everyone else. It shouldn't be too hard - he hasn't accumulated too many possessions yet. Just his trusty bladerang, a small box with some personal effects (which smells quite good), and a few sets of clothes.]
[He looks around as he waits for an answer. Something very strange was going on today. The communicator was filled with odd messages about body swapping. Thankfully he hadn't been afflicted.]
[[ooc: This is a chance for all Graces cast to catch-up and get a chance to talk about recent events as much as it is for Malik to move in with everyone. Hubert has moved out, Sophie has recently been sworded,
Cheria is in a hiatus coma:), anything else?]]
Who: Sophie, Asbel, Malik and anyone~!
Where: All over
Style: Prose or Action, your call!
Malik hasn't been in Vatheon long, but Sophie's still taken it upon herself to show him all the things (that he's probably already seen) that she's seen and done. Of course it isn't just the two of them, but a third, that being Asbel, both father figures accompanying the not-daughter around Vatheon for a tour as she points out various things.
Pausing by a spot in the plaza, she points, "I was sleeping there. That's where Tiger Festival found me." Tiger Festival being, of course, her silver tabby kitten that was currently sprawled across her shoulder, enjoying a ride. She is of course, keeping an eye out for familiar faces so she can introduce her friends (new or old) to 'the family'. Asbel will feel better if he knows who she hangs out with right?
[ ooc: Come and run into Sophie, her two dads and her kitten~! ]
