someone might want to make her eat something.
Who: Estelle and all of you wonderful
vatheonites! ♥
When: TODAY. 2/21. ALL DAY.
Where: Dat Library
Style: Anything ever. Seriously, I will match any style you want to do.
Status: OPEN LIKE AN OPEN THING.
It wasn't uncommon to see Lady Estellise in the library at all, and that's just where she was today. She was curled up in an armchair, a small stack of books on the table to the side of her, and one of them open and being read as she relaxes in that chair of hers.
There was much to learn about this city, and a lot of literature and folklore to read. Everything was just so fascinating, and Estelle couldn't get enough of it.
And so, she stayed there, for hours on end, reading until her eyes burned, and even then.
Someone may need to remind her to eat.

He had, however, been in Vatheon for a very long time. When he had first arrived the young man had been much the same, for two reasons; one, to distract himself, and two, out of simple fascination.
The library was a vast treasure trove of information indeed.
Mitsuhide almost walked straight past Estelle, but blinked when he looked upon the stack of books. Was she intending to read all of them? Or had she read most of them already? He looked at her face and found himself smiling softly.
"My Lady, how long have you been there?" he asked, voice soft but with a thread of concern audible. "Your eyes look a little sore."

She smiled at the man, bowing a little bit in her chair in greeting.
"I can keep going for quite a long time," she admitted, a sheepish tone in her voice.
no subject
"Good heavens!" Mitsuhide exclaimed, a little surprised that it had been quite that long. "If that is so, then I believe you."
This young woman was clearly a scholar. In a place like Vatheon, a true scholar would find themselves overloaded with information yet thirsty for as much as they could obtain. He knew that personally, after all.
"You are certainly passionate about books, and that is a great thing, but I think it may be wise for you to take a break, even if only a short one."
After a moment of thought, he added:
"Have you eaten at all?"
Which was typical of Mitsuhide; he had a strong protective streak (which tended to manifest in a manner that had caused others to call him a paternal type, at times).
no subject
"Well ..." she started, then laughed, again very sheepish.
"I ate this morning before I arrived at the library?" She offered, knowing that it was definitely not an answer that this man was going to like, considering how concerned he seemed to be with her well-being already. As if to emphasize her answer, Estelle's stomach conveniently chose that time to growl.

He'd left the library in the afternoon to walk around the park and talk to the gardener about plants. Since he and Cielo don't need to hunt tonight, Serph had returned to his job in the library early in the evening.
...Has that woman been in the library the entire day?
......It's starting to get dark, though. It must be getting hard to read the text in the rapidly diminishing light. She looks entirely too engrossed to even turn on the light beside her, so Serph shifts the books he's carrying to one hand and silently turns it on.]

She smiled sheepishly, however, and bowed as much as she could in her chair to him out of politeness. ]
Thank you very much!

Serph nods in acknowledgement of her thanks.]
What does it mean when you bend forward like that?

Lies. Who needs to eat when they have books
Hours passed and Ruca finally realized he is probably staying in one place for too long. His eyes were a little sore, too.
He stood up from his place, but only to put the book he just had finished reading back on its place. As he was looking for something else to read, he noticed a familiar person.
"Hey, Estellise." he called to her as he approached with a smile.
Om nom books?
"Ruca ..." She greeted, then smiled in return, lifting a hand to wave at him. "How are you?"
wait, that's not what I mean xD
"I'm okay." he said, taking a good look at her. "...But what about you? You look a little... tired."
XD! also I apologize for how fail this tag is ...
don't worry abut that!

He's come in and out and she'd still been in the same spot and didn't seem to register him wandering in to poke at books and out - and a couple minutes spent studying her - or her reading material more likely.
Duke returns with a bag, which he sets in Estelle's lap. If she looks inside, there is a variety sandwich makings - options for insides too.
no subject
Duke?
And he was giving her something. She looked inside of the bag, seeing that there were a variety of options for sandwiches.
... he was worried about her well-being? Was that it? It was certainly not something Estelle had expected of the man, but the fact that it had happened caused her to feel something warm and fuzzy within her. She looked up at him and smiled.
"Thank you."
no subject
A little paranoid? Maybe.
"Know how absorbing books can be." Or research. "... Would do well to carry snacks - get hungry, pull something out. Have no need to leave in that case."
Awkward? Definitely.

He rounded a stack of books and was a little surprised to find Estelle buried in a large tome - though in hindsight he figured he shouldn't have been surprised at all; he'd already pegged Estelle as a bookworm.
Seeing as she hadn't noticed him yet, he quickly retreated and came up on her from another angle, sneaking up behind the chair and and resting his elbows quietly on the back to read over her shoulder. She may not even notice he's there until he purposely moves his head so one of the curls of red hair he takes such care with passes in front of her face.

Her eyes met his, and she paused, not even blinking or looking away for several moments. She only stared.
And then she smiled.
"Hello, Zelos!"

With the exception of a brief moment of sheer novelty at the fact that someone even had a collection this big.]
Holy cow, it's huge.
[Nope, no respect for the quiet of a library.]
Who'd even want all these books?
no subject
Some people really enjoy reading.
[ she smiled. ]

There's no way anyone could read this many books in their life. Maybe not even if they were a half elf or an elf! Besides, who'd want to spend their entire life reading?

I'm fine! I'm sorry for interrupting your reading...
[And she's going to start picking up her spilled stack of books now.]
What were you reading?
