Dave seems to have fully embraced his role as the little song bird from his little tale. And so he was collecting things for his dear sister and his dear father.

You may be busy doing something when Dave flies and perches himself nearby. He let's out a rather beautiful, yet morbid tune.

"My mother, she killed me,
My father, he ate me,
My sister Marlene,
Gathered all my bones,
Tied them in a silken scarf,
Laid them beneath the juniper tree,
Tweet, tweet, what a beautiful bird am I."

What a beautiful voice and bird child he had and was. If you ask for him to sing again, he won't do it for free. But he's not asking for much. Perhaps a small trinket or something to spare. He only wishes to gather things for his sweet little family.

[Dave might come upon a very weary-looking man dressed in what seems to be Egyptian attire, sitting on a throne with a pensive look on his face. Being the God of Death wasn't easy. But still, Jacob took it in stride like he always does, even though he is now in charge of all the souls that were on their way to the afterlife in this place.]

Oh, hello. [A weary smile alights on his face, which seems a bit haggard and thinner than usual.] Such a sad song. Is that really what happened?

[Dave definitely runs into Jack again. Except this time, hair framing his face and his hair dragging the ground. He catches the song the birdboy is singing, and as much as he wants to say how beautiful it is, digesting the words. Ouch, that's painful.]

Such a sad song for such a pretty bird. [Sigh~.]
