[As to be expected, it doesn't take too long. Kanaya headed out almost immediately, after taking a moment to make sure she was presentable. The fact that this wasn't her body almost necessitates better care than usual, simply out of politeness.]
Hello Rose. It's good to see you, circumstances notwithstanding.

[It was odd looking at herself like this. Completely different from a photograph or a mirror. And as much effort as Kanaya had made in making herself presentable, Rose could only see the effects of the hangover. The baggy eyes and the tired look that accompanies a night of poor sleep attributed to drinking to excess. She really was a mess. She stared for a moment before breaking her reverie.]
Hello, Kanaya. My apologies once again for leaving my body to you in such a condition.
I love your icons so much, sorry mine are so jumbled
That's alright, you couldn't have known a curse was about to place someone else in it. If I had known I would have tried to feed beforehand.
[Well, maybe the Seer could have known if she wasn't drinking... but if she hadn't, it wouldn't be a problem, so maybe she wouldn't see the situation? Kanaya would just as soon stick to her own title, though from what she's heard on the network this switch would giver her Rose's class and aspect. That's an interesting thought.]
How have you been?
Thanks. <3 I was really OCD about the order I uploaded them in.
That's unfortunately true. I haven't had many visions since I've arrived here and the ones that I have had, gave me very little to work with.
[She frowns. What good was being a seer if you couldn't see anything worthwhile?]
A lack of foresight does not excuse my behavior. As for how I've been? I'm certain the fact that I have a bottle of premixed bloody marys in the fridge would be a clear indicator that I haven't been doing well.
Meanwhile I was 100% haphazard, and naming things whatever came to mind at the time :P
I understand. I.. know it doesn't really help much but I am sorry for the situation, and I do feel terrible for causing you this pain. I didn't know for certain what would happen between us over a sweep and a half on the meteor, but I did suspect it... and it's probably my fault anyway. I purposefully antagonized the Head Nurse, and while I expected retribution I thought that it would be more direct.

Don't blame yourself for my problems, Kanaya. Had our situations been reversed, I can't say that I would have remained single. Yes, it hurt finding out about your relationship with Roxy. I was dumped by my girlfriend in a reality where she was't my girlfriend. It's an odd situation to find yourself in. But it's not your fault.
As for the drinking, that was only one of many factors. The last curse threw me for quite the loop as I'm certain it did for you and most other people in the city. My alternate history left much to be desired and paired with my actions were a lot to cope with upon my real memories being returned.

Ugh, don't remind me. I spent that week making horrendous clothes and trying ineptly to kill a good friend of mine. I'm really not fit to be a villain. To make it worse I dragged young Yotsuba into it. Even with so many abject examples of the Head Nurse's wrath, each time something like this happens I just hate her a little more.

As is only natural. On to the topic that brings us here today. I did touch the coral already so hunger has been staved off for the time being. However, as discussed, it is probably in our best interests to take preemptive action.
no subject
Yes. Are you... comfortable here, or would you prefer somewhere with more privacy? My clothing shop is nearby.
no subject
I believe your shop might be a better location. I'm assuming you don't generally feed in front of large audiences of strangers, so it may be in our best interest to avoid causing a scene.
no subject
Right. I estimate that there are half a dozen individuals with the same dietary requirement as I, and I don't believe any of them have made a habit of feeding in public. The shop is this way, about a block and a half.
[Kanaya leads the way, still a little awkward in the strange god-tier body.]
So... Have we, uhm. Have you experienced this process before? I mean, as a host of course. It's obviously going to be a unique experience for both of us with this specific configuration.
no subject
[Rose nods and follows Kanaya to the shop.]
Yes, I have. I have to admit, I have been quite curious for some time what it's like from your side of things. Though I had only intended to ask for a description. I never imagined I might learn from a practical standpoint.
no subject
It's not something I ever expected to have the chance to experience either. I was affected by this curse last time, but the timing was much better. I had a more rigorously set feeding schedule then too, before my donor left the bubble. You would have liked her...
[It's not to long at all before they arrive and Kanaya opens the door. Luckily she never bothers to lock up, or else she'd have to hope Rose grabbed them before coming out.]
There's chairs in back. That would be the most comfortable place I think.
no subject
Would I have? Tell me something about her.
[Really. She's curious.
Rose steps into the store and takes a look around. before heading toward the back.]
Then the chairs in the back it is.

Her name was Zelda. She was... incredibly kind, with a fierce intellect. She came from a fairly primitive world, yet she had very little trouble acclimating to the technology available here. Her ability to use magic from her world helped greatly, both from the practical application of healing magic, and for a certain level of existential distress I was suffering when I first got here. She had an intense scientific curiosity which she applied to help me understand what exactly it meant to be a rainbow drinker.
I am convinced that she saved this city from disaster on many occasions, just as I'm convinced she was taken away from us for causing the scientists too many problems.
[Princess Zelda... it's been months since Kanaya's talked about her, but she hasn't forgotten at all.]
[It only takes a moment for the two of them to make their way into the back room and sit down. There's almost a feeling of vertigo, looking up at herself. Being on the other side of this exchange was strange enough when it was just theory, but looking at her own body, at Rose, and knowing what they are going to do next? It's bizarre to a disorienting degree. But it needs to be done, so as always Kanaya won't back down.]
