For all intents and purposes, it should be warmer, shouldn't it? Peony was sure he'd checked the weather, Monday, and it was definitely supposed to be warmer than it was. But nothing really seemed like he could get warm enough? He's been up and down between the island and Vatheon itself but to no avail!

Oh right. Curse. Maaaan! This is a terrible curse! Not like curses are usually good, hence "curse" and all, but...

Come give a guy a hug, Vatheon? Whether he's just unhappily waddling walking by or standing somewhere or anything else--there are certainly bouts of glomming onto Jade and Alister!

[ So Peony likes attaching to Jade, does he?

So does someone small. Or, well, she doesn't know if she likes it, but she is fairly sure it will make her warmer than curling up with Mikoto and Tatara has. And they need to be warm too, so even if Jade is being hugged by someone else, Anna is reaching for a hand to try to get the red-eyed man to come with her.

Well. Getting his hand would be a first step. Reaching- ]

[Jade's been curled up against Peony like a cat for the past little while, so the sudden change and hand on his makes him look over tiredly at her.]

[ She knows what's going on, Jade.

You and your friend are being cuddlers, just like Tatara is sprawling on Mikoto. But if this is like Mikoto and Tatara, only its Jade and his-friend, then it probably isn't working very well for either of them.

That is a very good question. The marble held tight in her other hand might hold the answer. ]

[Peony peers over Jade to catch sight of the little girl, peers further to catch sight of her hand on his. And--awh. Aaaawh, precious angel come into the pile. He grins first at Anna, offering her a little wave where he can, beckoning her closer, then peeks down at Jade.]

You routinely manage to get pretty girls to follow you around, Jade. I'm surprised.

[Jade remains tucked against Peony and shifts to look at his with a dryly unamused expression. However, the amount of people who find him intriguing grows ever more every day. Not mention have the giant, attached cat man.]

[He doesn't mind it, Anna, really; mostly shown by the fact that he hasn't shaken off her hand just yet. He looks back to her and nods.]

[Because Jade using either of the words 'cuddle' or 'snuggle' might make the very fabric of reality rip apart.]

... But Mikoto and Tatara are cold too. And I can't make them warm anymore.

[ Which is probably why Peony isn't helping Jade too much, at this point.

So she is totally going to tug at Jade's hand now. Its a light, just this side of insistent tug. ]

[If Jade had used "snuggle" or "cuddle", Peony might have died laughing. Just to get that out of the way. Great way to assassinate the emperor.

He peeks from Jade to Anna and smiles.]

Well, the walk might help if nothing else?

[Peony shifts his hold on Jade to something a little more secure, though; would be nice to warm up.]

[Jade thought a moment. He was mentally in a state of not wanting to leave when he was just getting warmed up, and not wanting to move. He sighed a bit, though/ He'd promised he'd help Anaa when he could, and yet he felt resistant to movement. When Peony shifts his hold, Jade doesn't do much, but he sighs.]

I suppose we can move around a bit.

[ She will take both hands, if need be. But one more tiny tug on Jade's hand. It will end up pretty warm if you come along.... ]
