Who: Dr. Franken Stein, Pip the Eevee, and you. Also some ducks.

What: Pip will never manage to figure out that ducks and other small critters aren't Pokemon.

[Pip hatched from an egg that Death the Kid found in the fridge in the Soul Eater cast's villa about a year and a half ago. Somehow, he still hasn't quite figured out that the non-humans here in Vatheon aren't Pokemon for him to fight with.

And for some reason, Pip has been in a mood to pick fights recently. So, if you have an animal, or if you are an animal, or maybe if you're a troll, there is a (slightly pudgy) fox-like creature suddenly attacking with a jumping tackle.

Alternatively, Pip is trying to fight ducks using that same jumping tackle. The ducks are not very amused. Some of them run off, but then Pip goes after a goose. The goose is almost exactly what he was looking for in an opponent, though it's not very good at taking turns.


Dr. Stein is being very responsible and keeping track of the Eevee.

Actually no, he's just taking notes on Pip's behavior and watching in amusement.]

[ Rue is... walking around Vatheon or something idk but she's getting around and seeing the sights because she's new!

She actually takes a few minutes to appreciate the small group of ducklings as they go do duckling things, at least until the fox-like animal suddenly jumps into it and scatters them about.

Rue blinks, before furrowing her brow. ]

Leave them alone.

[The Eevee obviously does not understand that ducks are good people. Or maybe his version of "being nice" involves happy yelping and tail-wagging and jumping on ducks.

Stein (the tallish man with gray hair, glasses, a patchwork lab coat, and a screw through his head) turns to look at Rue.]

I don't think he'll listen to you.

[ Rue's eyes do widen for a second upon seeing the screw, as it's definitely something she's never seen before. But....... well hey she supposes all places have quirks about their citizens since she grew up in a town full of anthropomorphic animals right?? ]

... I see. Is he yours?

No, he belongs to some of my students.

[By now he has managed to chase off all of the ducks and comes trotting back to stare up at Rue and Stein. All of the ducks are gone, this is a problem. Fix it for him.]

A teacher... it didn't occur to me that a place like this would have schools.

[ When Pip comes up to stare, Rue stares back, frowning. She can't tell what he's asking for and doesn't know how to deal with animals that don't walk on two legs and talk just like everyone else. Awkward Rue is awkward. ]

... I don't have any food.

Oh, I don't teach anything here. Some of my students from back home have been in Vatheon longer than I have.

[Pip would very much like food! Are you sure you don't have anything?]

Is that so. [ She drifts off as her attention is once again caught by the eevee at her feet. You're cute, Pip, but she doesn't know how to deal with you! ]

... I'm not familiar with this type of animal. They're native to this place?

[Well, Shiro HAD been drinking a cup of coffee, but somewhere between the counter and the table he gets tackled in the back and falls forward with an undignified yelp. Coffee spilled, newspaper crumpled, shirt stained, day ruined.]

[Pip, on the other hand, is very pleased with himself. He's going to pace in pleased little circles on Shiro's back, tail held high like a flag.

Stein is going to sip from his mug (tea, rather than coffee), and watch.]

Get off already!

[He doesn't want to hurt the stupid thing, mostly because he knows the kids will be upset if he does, so he'll try to make Pip get off his back by rolling onto his side. Pip can't prance on his back if it's not exposed, after all.

In doing this, he spots Stein's feet. And he sounds grumpy.]

Did you tell him to do that?

[No, but now Pip can step off Shiro's head and sit right in the priest's line of sight. He's very proud of himself.

Stein just watches.]

Why would he listen to me?

[He tries to sit up as he talks, but he flinches and holds his back once he's up.]

Goddamn pets. This is exactly why we never had a dog.

[Noooooooo you can't get up you were defeated soundly in battle! Pip makes an attempt at a threatening "veeeee" noise, then launches another Tackle at Shiro's shins.

Stein just watches.]

[Stupid mutt!!1 Shiro tries to side-step but slips on the coffee and falls down anyway.]

Damnit! Just get it to stop already!

[Meanwhile, have one pokemon trainer looking around the and wondering why there was a lot of quacking nearby. Huh, what's going on?

Of course, by the time she walks over, she starts to see that there was a familiar looking fox. Whoever was watching over Pip, they need to be more responsible! So don't mind her walking over and looking at the Eevee....and back at Dr. Stein]

[Oh! Pip knows you! He's going to prance up towards Bianca, with an 'eevee!' pleased with his victory against the ducks. Stein will just watch the interaction.]

[She looks at Stein once more before she could see the Eevee walking straight to her. Uh...why are you still watching us?]

Hey, Pip, it's nice to see you again! What are you doing here? Hm?

Are you here with uh...that person? [Actually, when did he get here?] Is he your friend?

[Pip was obviously battling ducks. He was victorious! And that person is his daddy's teacher, the Professor, who is watching over him right now.

Stein's going to walk over.]

Professor Stein. I'm Kid and Maka's teacher back home.

Pip seems fond of you.

Oh, I see! I was wondering who you were but if you're their teacher, that makes sense! I'm Bianca, it's nice to meet you!

[And she gives her hand out to him!]

But yes, he knows me! I know that Maka wants me to take care of him but... [Ahahahaha...ha...ha...] I think I've been lazy lately. I guess I might as well start now?

[He shakes her hand.]

How exactly would you train him?

[Stein might just take up training the Eevee.]

That's simple, I take him for walks around the park to make sure that he gets enough exercise too! Hm...maybe I need to figure out what he eats so I can understand how to make him more healthy.

Call a medic, a priest, or the news cause really Gamzee actually has no idea what just happened beyond that he suddenly had something small and furry smash into his back while he wasn't paying attention --which was always anyway-- and suddenly his face and the ground were best fuckin' buds.]

[Pip makes a very pleased noise in response to that pathetic honk. He won! The other creature is down!

Stein just watches to see what happens.]

[Pip is overlord of the ducks. They fear him. They worship him. Or something.


Stein just looks over at the newcomer.]
