It's not exactly unusual to see Roxas in the vicinity of the ice cream shop. He's probably one of its top customers, aside from the not-having-to-pay part.

What is a little unusual is that he's eating... strawberry ice cream. It's gotten to the point where he doesn't have to say what flavor he wants, but this time the lady at the counter gave him something different, remarking she heard it was his favorite. He's overheard a few similarly strange things from the natives, but mostly harmless stuff about people he doesn't know and he dismissed most of it.

Anyway, there's nothing wrong with trying new things, right? Actually, strawberry's not bad.

((Another rumor going around which Roxas hasn't heard is that he likes kissing folk. Vanitas sure got all the important parts out of that diary. So be forewarned your character may be subjected to kissing... on the cheek.))

This is going to be pay back for all the puppy kisses from before, huh? Hayner had decided to hit the shop actually to see if they had an ice cream machine in the back. It would be majorly cool if they had made their own ice cream in the shop! He wanted to try making his own some day. Could you imagine if there was maple and bacon flavored ice cream?

Was that Roxas? With pink ice cream? Huh.

"Hey Rox. What flavor are you trying?" Not like he has anything against trying new things, but he's always linked Roxas with light blue.

Can you call it payback when it will be very awkward for both parties? Oh well.

Roxas waves to Hayner with his free hand as he sees him headed for the shop.

"It's strawberry. You wanna try some?" ...Roxas, strawberry is like a standard flavor, most people have tried it at least once.

It’ll just be part of the list of things they never talk about. Well, at least Hayner won’t talk about it. He’ll think it over a moment before deciding sure. Trying something new was always worth something, right? Crossing over to where Roxas is without even thinking about personal space. This was Rox, and he was used to, even if the memories were fake, being close to him. It was natural.

“Sure.” He probably has tried it, but if Roxas was dropping Seasalt for it, it might have been better? Hayner will help himself to a quick bite of the blonde’s ice cream.

Roxas doesn't think anything of the proximity either. It might not all be real, but he's used to Hayner doing things like slinging an arm around him or roughhousing, and it's no big deal.

At least, doing that kind of stuff, the platonic, friend kind of stuff, is no big deal.

But this next part? Not so much. As Hayner's starting to pull back with his bite of ice cream, Roxas leans in again to kiss him on the cheek.
