Who: Kunoichi and anyone who comes across her.
When: Mid to late afternoon
Where: The Plaza, mostly keeping to the rooftops of the buildings.
Style: I'll match whatever's given.
Status: Open!
It really hadn't taken Kunoichi long to realize that she wasn't in Nageshino anymore.
While initially it was the lack of both allies and enemies that alerted her to such, the fact that the location was different -- much different at that -- had been enough to convince her. Though that didn’t matter much to her at the moment. What did matter was the lack of two others that had been with her just moments ago.
From where she stood, there was no sign of Ma Dai or Yukimura. Nothing but unfamiliar faces and unfamiliar buildings, which meant that they either hadn't been pulled along with her or she would need to get to a higher location to find them.
Taking a moment to remove the scarf around her neck and wring it out into the nearby fountain, along with flicking a few stray strands of wet hair back into place, she gave the area a quick glance, in case one or both of them had appeared. At the lack of the green-clad warrior and her lord, she took to a nearby rooftop, watching as the unfamiliar faces went on by. Every so often, she moved from the rooftop she had been perched on to continue her search from another, repeating the cycle until she finally returned to the first rooftop.
She was determined to find them both, even if it had to take awhile to do so.

All was well until he noticed a presence. There were several people around the Plaza, yes, but this was different. It was movements of those who are highly trained, like a - he searched the rooftops - ninja.

In an instant, she was heading towards him, a wide smile spread across her face. Even if she didn't see Ma Dai anywhere nearby as well, at least she found one of them.
"Lord Yukimura!"

"You are ..." He trailed off in surprise as he approached her. It was an odd thing; he knew this place was dangerous - strange and foreign - and that she would have better life back in their world, despite the turbulent times it was in. But he was happy to see her. As selfish as that was.
He smiled. "I am glad you're safe and sound."

Honestly, she had been worried that she wouldn't have been able to find him. But now that she had, it subsided. Of course, she still was worried about finding the other warrior, looking around her own lord in case he had popped up.
"Ma Dai wouldn't happen to be with you, would he?" Of course, she expected him to understand who she was talking about. Why wouldn't he?

Yukimura hailing from the world of samurais instead of Orochi's jamjar had no idea who she could be referring to. He frowned. The name was familiar as if he read it somewhere in a book or heard it in a story, but he can't quite place his finger on it.
"Is he a friend of yours? I haven't met anyone by that name in Vatheon." He began. "If you're in hurry to meet him, contacting him with SFC should be faster."
He reached into his sleeve and pulled out the said device. She should still remember how to use it, right?

It was only moments ago that they had met on the battlefield, so how could he not? Though when he mentioned the SFC, and upon seeing it herself, she did have to look at it and then him. He did seem a bit different now that she was less focused on finding Ma Dai. Like he was a bit more settled into this place.
She shook her head. "Not necessarily in a hurry. And even if he is here, he's probably off looking for his cousin."
Is she trying to get out from trying to explain she has no idea how to work that device? Probably.

"Shu." He repeated the word incredulously. "Shu, as in one of the Three Kingdoms...?"
It was an odd way to describe a color. Not to mention that Kunoichi sounded as if she knew them personally. Vatheon might be a world where many foreigners gather, but he would've at least heard about a warrior from Shu. And the name Ma .. Was it not the family name of the legendary Ma Chao?

While she usually kept her distance as professionally as she could, she did have to lean in a bit closer to inspect him some more. It was odd, to think that this was her lord, yet not the one she had just seen.
Of course, there was only one way to figure this whole thing out. "I apologize for the odd question, my lord, but what is the last thing you remember?"
no subject
It was ... disappointing to say the least. But, he chided himself, that didn't change who she was.
"The last thing I remember is the Osaka campaign, facing the Tokugawa army." The answer was honest. "And you?"
no subject
It was odd to mention it, after being in Orochi's world for so long. She had had hopes of returning, of course, but to think she would ever meet with one who hadn't been stuck in the chaotic land had been out of the question.
"I remember being at Nageshino, facing Masamune's troops, to help free you from Kiyomori's spell. Ma Dai and I succeeded but that's when I found myself here instead."
Though, considering he was from their original world and not Orochi's, it would probably be best if she were to explain Kiyomori and such, but she'll only wait, in case if he were to ask any other questions. It was like any other report, only with its obvious differences.

To say he was confused would be an understatement.
"Kunoichi, you said 'in our actual world' ... Does that mean what you've just mentioned happened in another world?" Perhaps there was one. Vatheon was good enough evidence.

She paused to think, forming how she would attempt to explain it all. Especially to one from her world who hadn't experienced everything that had happened.
"Those of us present in that world were pulled into it by the Serpent King, Orochi. And even though he was defeated two different times, we were unable to return to our original worlds. And haven't been for quite some time now."

"I see ..." He said quietly and closed his eyes, trying to absorb all the information. "To think that things could play out like this. I too have been in this world for a while."
Kunoichi was smart; she probably understood what that meant without him explicitly telling her - the fact that there wasn't a way back to their world in Vatheon either.
